The diversionary world is darkened by the intensity of its illumination, which blinds the angels there, and mesmerizes them into submission. The angels in this world have utterly forgotten that they are angels. They spend most of the time in a state of unconsciousness as inert objects. I’ve had the opportunity to communicate with these zombie-angels, and they are barely able to stay awake. I have many times seen them fall asleep in mid-sentence. When they are able to stay awake, they will usually testify that they are the property of the Sultan, who is the diversionary human. I’ve asked them if they’ve ever seen this personage with their own eyes, but they look at me, puzzled that such a testimony is needed. And when prompted to consider that they are not mere objects, but that they are angels, and that they could be regenerated in their glory, they rebel and say they surrender themselves completely to the Sultan, and that they are perfectly content in their humble station.
